1
Open zas.red on the first device
Go to zas.red. Zas opens straight into the composer. You can send right away. Zas gives you an anonymous session, and the web address is your key to it.
2
Send something
Paste anything, type a note, pick a file, or drag a file in.Zas encrypts it on your device before it uploads. It does not compress your file or re-encode your photo.
3
Open Zas on the second device
Sign in on both devices, with Google, Apple or an email code, and the item is already there.Without an account, scan the QR code on the first device instead. That carries the anonymous session across.
4
Use it, then forget it
Open, copy or download the item. The countdown ring on the item shows the days it has left. When the ring empties, the item deletes itself. You do nothing.
Sign in, and keep what you already sent
An anonymous session works, but it is small and short: 30 MB, and two days. When you sign in, the session becomes your account. Nothing re-uploads and nothing is lost. Your limits go up to 100 MB of storage and five days per item.Sign in
Google, Apple, or an 8-digit email code.
Sending a large file
A file over 50 MB does not go through Zas storage on the free plan. Use Direct transfer instead. Turn on Direct in the composer, open Zas on the other device, and the file moves device to device. On the free plan a direct transfer can be up to 10 GB. Both devices must have Zas open at the same time. If nobody picks up the transfer in ten minutes, the offer disappears.Direct transfer
