Zas deletes on purpose, so leaving has to be easy. Export is one button.

How to export

Open Settings and choose Export everything. Zas decrypts your items on your device and packs them into a single ZIP. Your browser downloads it like any other file.

What is in the ZIP

Everything you are holding right now: your items, across your channels, with their names. Anything that already expired is not in there. It is gone, and there is no copy to include.

WHATS-MISSING.txt

If some items could not be packed, Zas does not hide it. The ZIP contains a file called WHATS-MISSING.txt that lists them, with the reason for each:
  • could not be decrypted with this key — the item belongs to a key this session does not hold.
  • is no longer available — the item left before the export finished.
When that happens, Zas also tells you on screen: “Done, but n item(s) did not make it. See WHATS-MISSING.txt.”

What export does not include

  • Direct transfers. Zas never held them, so it cannot export them.
  • Items in other people’s channels that you do not hold.

Export before you delete

Deleting your account removes everything at once. Export first if you want to keep any of it.
